Production Update

Good morning everyone, another week and another shot of mother natures famous winter weather is leaving us all dreaming of warmer days and sunny skies that lie ahead. With temps falling across the region overnight, winds blowing like something out of a old fashion horror story and snow visiting us once again, production is slowly moving forward out of the gate today. With that said, the weeks forecast is calling for sustained winds through Wednesday but clearing skies possibly for tomorrow and then again for Thursday and Friday of this week. Temps will continue to fall as we move forward with highs topping out in the upper twenties today and tomorrow and then in the upper teens for the remainder of the week.

Production Schedule Update

Good morning everyone, another Tuesday and another week off to a rough start as a result of dismal weather conditions around the metro. With heavy fog and icy conditions settling in through the morning hours today its a slow go for installations and keeping on schedule. Freezing rain with total ice accumulations forecasted between 1/4" to 1/2" to fall through tomorrow evening, the next 36 hours will again be slow and tedious regarding production. The forecast for the remainder of the week looking past Wednesday is for clouds and temps hovering in the mid 30's which if holds true will allow us to get back out to the job sites and work towards maintaining our schedule.

Production Update

Good morning to everyone out there in the great land of Husker S.W.R.! We would like to take a minute to congratulate everyone on the great teamwork and effort they put in this morning hosting the Western Douglas County Chamber of Commerce "Coffee & Connections" event. Things went very well and we had a great turnout of Chamber Members as we introduced ourselves and our new facilities to the community. We also learned some valuable lessons in regards to our hosting setup that will be greatly applied in the future as we work towards our grand opening in April and other events we may host moving forward. Again, thanks to everyone for contributing and making this place a growing and thriving success!

As far as production in concerned we are continuing to roll along trying to get back on schedule and the rising temperatures combined with sunny days should provide a positive correlation in regards to levels of production. The long rang forecast is looking promising over the next 5-7 days as it looks as if we will be approaching the upper 30's and lower 40's moving into the beginning of next week.

Production Schedule Update

Good morning everyone and we hope that you are having a great start to what is proving to be one of the warmest days we have had in quite some time. While the sun has not quite broke through the morning fog as of yet, we are looking at a continued warming trend through the end of the week and possibly through the beginning of next week. From a production standpoint this is dearly needed as we all know the weather of the last few weeks has proven to be a detriment to our production schedule.

Production Schedule

Good morning everyone and we hope you had a wonderful weekend. As we begin the second full week of production for not only 2010 but the second decade in the 21st century, we are looking forward to emerging from the deep freeze we have just experienced. For the first time in at least 2 weeks we are back at in on our job sites across the metro and are trying to regain ground on our production schedule. With the weather looking like it is going to stabilize with a slight warming trend over the next 7 to 10 days we are hoping to continue to move forward with installations.

A little side note and reminder for everyone out there in Huskerland, we are hosting the WDCCC Wednesday morning 7:30 - 9:00am. I know that Nicole has sent out and email requsting that if anyone has a griddle available and would be willing to bring that in for us to use, that would be great. We are also planning on moving the Nissan Cube into the showroom tomorrow following our production meeting so anyone available after that meeting for a short duration would be greatly appreciated for help. The clock is ticking so lets get everything in order for a easy flowing event Wednesday morning.

Good morning everyone out there in the frozen Nebraska tundra, as we discussed this morning in our staff meeting we are making adjustments as necessary to try and rework or production schedule. Mother nature seems bound and determined to throw everything she has at us to throw us off kilt and we are responding by calling customers and apprasing them of the situation at hand. As always, communication between sales and production is key in working towards an efficient and profitable system and the ultimate goal of satisfying our customers.

The updated NOAA weather forecast for the remainder of this week is showing 3-5" possible by late Wednesday night with severe cold and strong winds moving in behind the system. Forecast high temps in the NEGATIVES for Thursday and Friday will again put a damper on production efforts and hopefully long range models now coming in hold true for a slight warming trend beginning early next week. We shall see.....
